Organizations

Organizations let your team share a single credit pool, API keys, and data export subscriptions under one account — no need to share personal credentials.

Roles

Create an Organization

  1. Go to Dashboard > Organizations
  2. Click Create Organization
  3. Enter a name — a URL slug is generated automatically (lowercase, hyphens, 3-40 characters)
  4. Confirm the slug is marked Available, then click Create Organization
You’re set as the Owner and taken to the Members page to start inviting your team.

Switch Between Personal and Org

Use the account switcher in the top navigation bar. It shows your current context — “Personal” or the org name. Click it to switch between your personal account and any organization you belong to. The sidebar navigation updates to show org-specific sections (API Keys, Billing, Members, Settings) when an org is active.
API calls made with an org API key draw from the organization’s credit pool, not your personal balance.

Invite Team Members

Only owners and admins can send invitations.
  1. Switch to the org using the account switcher
  2. Go to Members in the sidebar
  3. Enter the teammate’s email and select a role (Member or Admin)
  4. Click Send Invite
The invitee receives an email with a link to accept. Pending invitations appear in a separate table below the member list — you can cancel them at any time.

Remove a Member

From the Members page, click Remove next to any non-owner member. The removal is immediate — their access to org API keys and resources stops right away.

Org API Keys

Organizations have their own API keys, separate from personal keys. Org keys are scoped to the organization and draw from the org credit pool. Create a dedicated key for each integration or team member context — for example, prod-pipeline, staging, or alice-dev. This makes it easy to rotate or revoke a single key without disrupting other services.
  1. Switch to the org
  2. Go to API Keys in the sidebar
  3. Click Create Key, give it a descriptive name, and copy the key immediately — it’s only shown once
To revoke a key, click Revoke next to it. Revoked keys return 401 immediately. Only owners and admins can create or revoke keys.
Avoid sharing a single key across multiple services or people. Separate keys improve auditability and limit blast radius if a key is compromised.
Use org keys the same way as personal keys:

Shared Resources

When an org is active, these resources are shared across all members:
  • Credit pool — all API calls made with org keys deduct from the org balance
  • Data Exports — watchlist accounts and export history are shared with the org
  • Billing & subscription — the org has its own subscription tier and billing
Members see org usage, billing, and exports in the sidebar when the org is selected.

Organization Settings

Owners and admins can update the org name and slug from Settings in the sidebar.

Audit Log

The Settings page shows a Recent Activity log with the 15 most recent actions — who did what and when. Tracked actions include member invitations, removals, API key creation, and settings changes.

Transfer Ownership

Owners can transfer ownership to another member from Settings > Danger Zone. Select the new owner from the dropdown and confirm. You’ll be downgraded to admin.

Delete Organization

Owners can permanently delete an organization from Settings > Danger Zone. This action:
  • Revokes all org API keys
  • Removes all members
  • Forfeits remaining credits
  • Cannot be undone
You’ll be asked to type the organization name to confirm.
